PAIN AND GAIN
Synopsis :
This story begins with Daniel Lugo (Mark Wahlberg) is a regular bodybuilder who works at Sun Gym along with his friend Adrian Doorbal (Anthony Mackie). Tired of living a life that is poor, Lugo plans to kidnap Victor Kershaw (Tony Shalhoub), a wealthy businessman who used to practice in the gym. Lugo plans to extort money from him through torture. With the help of a criminal just out of prison, Paul Doyle (Dwayne Johnson).
Based on an article from the New Miami Times in 1999, this film tells the story of two bodybuilders who get caught up in an extortion and kidnapping scheme that is very dangerous.
